Backlists

For one reason or another the rights of a book will revert to an author. It can be a sad but common event in the life of a book. It could be a small press closing or the book is out of print and your press doesn’t want to retain the rights, so you find yourself with an out-of-print book.

What’s an author to do? Let it go? Pitch it to another press? Self publish? Give it away for free? Those are options but author Lesley Krueger (author of several books, most recently Far Creek Road) has created a resource on her blog for how to bring back your backlist!
