What I’ve Read
Lindsay Wong’s prose is flawless and these vivid stories play like movies in your head as you read them. While the cannibalism, leeches, incest, demons, and other horror (and often comedic) elements do get your attention, these are rich literary stories of oppression, betrayal, and complicated family dynamics.
Highly recommend Tim Blackett’s strange, inventive, and often humorous collection of loosely connected fiction, Grandview Drive. Tim Blackett is coming to talk to my class about his debut book, his bookclub, podcast, and TikTok account.
