I recently re-read the five books in the Singing Hills cycle by Nghi Vo; there’s a sixth book coming out in October and I already have reserved it under my name at the library.
I tend to re-read short story collections, as they're more suited for picking up and putting down on a whim. Recently this includes: Lynne Coady's Hellgoing, Something Will Happen, You'll See by Christos Ikonomou (stories from the harshest point of austerity during the financial crisis), and Night Fears edited by Eric Williams (a collection of translated fiction that appeared in Weird Tales).
I recently reread Good to a Fault by Marina Endicott and enjoyed it as much, and differently, as I did when I first found it some ten or more years ago. I enjoy rereading and I love Ross Gay’s work!
I've been rereading Zoe Landale's book of poetry, Orchid Heart Elegies. It's a hard read about death and loss, but I've lost people lately and I think I need to go back to it.
Sherry Thomas’s Lady Sherlock series. Absolutely meticulous, from the mysteries to the characters (Charlotte Holmes casually reading people’s souls and saving her sisters while eating pastries) to friendship and romance,
What books are you re-reading?

That's exciting. I just looked it up and this series sounds really good.
Oh I just love these novellas! Whimsical and tender and filled with juicy humour!!

Cool. Thanks for the recommendations. I also loved Hellgoing.
Reread The Lord of the Rings once per year. Reread Hilary mantel's Wolf Hall about once every two years.
Ingrid--very cool! I haven't read Wolf Hall. Thanks for sharing.

Marion--I like the "and differently". It's true we often read and respond differently with subsequent readings. So interesting.
The older I get (the past ten years especially), the more I understand the whole “can’t step into the same river twice” thing. Oof.
As a way to satisfy and, honestly, get back my childhood whimsy, I reread A Series of Unfortunate Events each summer : )
The beautiful weather and being outside while reading these books brings me so much joy. I love to reread my childhood favourites.
That is so sweet Chanelle! Also reading outside is such a pleasure!

Oh thanks for sharing Lesley. Sorry to hear of your losses. I will check out this book.
